You attempt to log into Outlook for Mac and, even though you've entered the correct password, Outlook for Mac doesn't accept it, and continues to prompt you for your password. There are two situations where this can occur.
Third party email clients allow you to download and manage email locally on your computer. To setup your email account with Mail you must first discover the incoming and outgoing server information for your email account then setup the account in the Mail program on your Mac.
